The pure Fastpitch 16′s continued their amazing summer by finishing ninth (9) at Premier Nationals. The team was driven by great pitching, and timely hitting. The team eliminated the Pumas, The next Level (TNL), and Victory USA. The Pure Fastpitch 16′s was formed in February 2011. The girls did a great job establishing themselves with the college coach’s and the entire circuit took note of their awesome play. Good Job Girls!

PURE FASTPITCH TAKES 3RD PLACE IN COLORADO

THIS JULY WE TOOK A TEAM TO THE LOUISVILLE PLAY-IN TOURNAMENT OUTSIDE OF BOULDER COLORADO. THE TOP 6 TEAMS OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT ARE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN THE BOULDER FOURTH OF JULY TOURNAMENT NEXT YEAR (THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST RECRUITING EVENTS OF EVERY YEAR). WE TOOK OUR UNSIGNED TEAM AND PLACED 3RD AGAINST TEAMS FILLED WITH SIGNED PLAYERS. WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR GIRLS AND CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!

PURE FASTPITCH 18 GOLD QUALIFIES FOR PREMIERE NATIONALS!

We are so proud to announce that over the weekend our 18 gold Pure Fastpitch travel team qualified for this summer’s Premiere Nationals!!! The girls won their first two games on saturday but then lost saturday afternoon. They came back in fighting fashion on sunday morning to win 5 games in a row and qualify!

Here is how it played out:

Corona Express: win 2-1

HB Breeze: win 5-1

Raiders: loss 3-8

KG Hitters: win 10-1

San Jose Lady Sharks: win 9-6

Dirt Dogs: win 7-0

Firecrackers: win 4-3

Sorcerers: win 8-3

Way to go girls, you showed so much competitive maturity and we are proud of how much heart and determination you played with.

We're going to Premiere Nationals!

WEEKEND UPDATE JUNE 11-12, 2011

The Pure Fastpitch 16U Junior Olympic travel team played this weekend in the Las Vegas showcase.

After a slow start in game one, Pure Fastpitch 16U won four shutout games in a row behind the great pitching of Olivia Baltazar (2014), Shannon Riley (2013), Rachel Cue (2013), and Sydnee Cable (2013) and scored over 40 runs on the weekend. Cayla Unverzagt went 5-5 in one game…WOW! We had booming home runs from Erika Jason, Cayla Unverzagt (x2), Olivia Baltazar, Elizabeth Snow, and Sydnee Cable. And we saw amazing defense all around turning double plays and throwing out base runners.
